Starting April 1, 2024, Social Movement Technologies (SMT) are offering a 4-month fellowship aimed at enhancing activism across Asia. Here’s what you need to know:

**Overview:**

- Intensive training in online and offline campaigning.
- Focus on building justice movements across Asia.
- Designed for experienced activists, campaigners, and organisers.
- Special emphasis on participants from Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

**What is on Offer:**

- A pathway to join SMT’s Asia-based team of campaigners and coaches.
- Hands-on learning with 8-10 hours/week commitment.
- Monthly stipend of US$100 for 2-3 hours/week of outreach work.
- Essential: Reliable internet with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps.

**Learning Journey:**

- Share and learn from fellow activists’ expertise.
- Access to a 10-week Digital Campaigning Certificate Program, leading to an Advanced Certificate.
- Practical experience with real campaigns and organisations.
- Bi-weekly fellowship meetings for collaborative learning.

**Support Team:**

- Guidance from Mickey Eva, SMT’s Asia Movement Support Coordinator, and Hannah Roditi, SMT’s Executive Director.
- Interaction with various SMT team members and instructors.

**Post-Fellowship Opportunities:**

- Eligibility for part-time roles within SMT’s Asia team, with flexible hours.
- Potential for a full-time position within SMT.

This fellowship is not just a training program but a launchpad for activists to amplify their impact and contribute to systemic change in Asia.
