CDF STEM Femme fellowship is an initiative designed to support motivated women who are seeking to reinvent themselves and (re)enter gainful employment.
As part of the fellowship, participants have received training in essential digital skills to help them work effectively in professional settings.Our STEM Femme participants are:
- Creative storytellers with basic to intermediate skills in Canva
- Equipped with basic computational and data entry skills in Microsoft Excel
- Familiar with website development and content management using the Ghost platform
- Trained in basic digital marketing techniques
- A few participants bring 3–10 years of accounting experience and are familiar with Tally ERP software
- Immediate joiners
We are currently seeking:
- Full-time, part-time, or short-term gig assignments that offer modest pay
- Opportunities that provide scope for learning and growth
- Mentors who can guide our participants through the initial learning curve
- Workspaces that recognise the challenges these women have overcome, offer some flexibility with working hours, and foster an environment where they can work with dignity
We currently have 24 participants seeking full-time roles/ interested in gig opportunities.
