data.org is setting up their India Data Capacity Accelerator, and are looking for a consultant (individual / organization) for 6 months to support in landscaping the Indian Higher Education space and facilitating a selection process to identify a university partner to design and deploy a micro-masters’/ diploma/ certification or equivalent program on Data & Data Science with a key focus on health and climate data.
Summary: Data Capacity Accelerator hub will be launching in India in early 2023. For the upcoming India hub, we intend to identify a higher education partner that can anchor the Data for Social Impact academic offerings by developing and deploying a specialized and experiential curriculum and pedagogy with a focus on accelerating the application of data science for Climate & Health data to drive greater social impact. This accelerator will be part of a network of other accelerators being set up by data.org with partners in sub-Saharan Africa and the US. Consultant will be working for the duration of October 2022 – March 2023.
