Hello everyone!
We’re excited to share about the third year of the ‘Data for Good Exchange (D4GX) India’ initiative. This powerful initiative is the brainchild of a collaborative effort from Bloomberg, Dasra, and Stanford PACS, aiming to empower NGOs to provide data agency for India’s most vulnerable communities.
Since its launch in 2020, D4GX has been relentlessly hosting a series of events to foster the data-empowerment narrative in India. With their efforts, over 50 NGOs have come together to leverage data in solving societal problems. They’ve also published a landmark report, ‘Data Matters,’ elucidating critical solutions to promote ‘Data for Good.’
The D4GX 2023 India Empowerment Challenge is now live! It is an excellent opportunity for NGOs to showcase their outstanding data-focused innovations. This year, they’re concentrating on three thematic tracks:
- Learning to Livelihood
- Community Resilience (Including health and safety interventions)
- Climate & Sustainability
They are particularly encouraging NGOs that employ a GEDI lens (Gender, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) in their innovations to apply - ABOUT THE CHALLENGE - #D4GX INDIA
Three winning NGOs will be awarded a grant of INR 10 lakh each, receive mentorship support, and gain networking opportunities. Additionally, a select cohort of NGOs will receive expert mentorship support from Bloomberg and other data experts.
Deadline for applications: June 26th, 2023. Don’t miss out on this chance to be a part of the data-driven change movement!
Let’s harness the power of data for the greater good and contribute towards positive societal impact. Please spread the word about this challenge in your networks and let’s foster change together!
