Description: If you are passionate about promoting gender equality and innovation, join DataDotOrg and a panel of experts who are advancing the use of data about women, and by women. The event will feature speakers with a range of perspectives and lived experiences, including funders, academics, researchers, and social enterprise leaders. The panel will be moderated by DataDotOrg’s Chief Marketing and Product Officer, Perry Hewitt.
The online event will illuminate the impact of representing women’s experiences through data to create more equitable policies, fund purpose-driven innovation, and accelerate sustainable systems change. The panelists include Agnes Kiragga, Ph.D., Research Scientist and Technical Lead Data Science under the Data Science and Evaluation unit at the African Population Health Research Council in Nairobi, Kenya; Andrea Jimenez Cisneros, Ph.D., Postdoctoral Researcher, and Lecturer at the University of Sheffield; Chaitali Sinha, Senior Program Specialist in the Global Health Division at Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC); and Kalpana Ajayan, Regional Head of South Asia at Women’s World Banking.
