Job Description

The IT Head will be responsible for spearheading SSP’s technology initiatives, including managing back-office tools, Program Management Information Systems (MIS), and IT infrastructure. The role demands a combination of technical proficiency and strategic leadership, focusing on maximizing technology to drive SSP’s mission.

Core Responsibilities

  • Back Office Tools: Implement and manage various HR and Accounting systems, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy.
  • Program MIS: Design and maintain robust MIS for real-time data-driven decision making.
  • Hardware and Infrastructure: Manage all technological resources to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Security: Develop comprehensive IT security policies to safeguard data and privacy.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring contract compliance and performance.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of IT professionals, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Strategy and Planning: Develop IT strategies aligned with SSP’s goals, keeping abreast of technological advancements for potential adoption.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 10 years in IT leadership, preferably within the NGO sector.
  • Skills: Expertise in IT infrastructure, MIS, data analytics, cloud platforms, data protection policies, and team leadership.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication abilities and strong problem-solving skills, with a strategic and innovative approach to challenges.
