Custom Domain email id for my non-profit

Hey there, I have a query for which I need some help. I already have a domain, that is, ninetydegrees.in and now I need a email id, that is, contact or anything@ninetydegrees.in. Is it possible or do I need to purchase or something???

Often domain name service providers will provide a few email addresses for free. If that is the case, the configuration should be fairly easy. The big ones will have some documentation on how you can do this.

Hi Ayushee,

:grinning: Welcome to the community :tada:.
For a custom mail id with your domain, there are a couple of cost-effective options available for you to consider:

  1. Zoho Mail

Cost: Zoho offers a free plan for up to 5 users, which might be ideal since you only need one email address.
You can also get the Paid plans with additional storage and features start at around ₹60-70/user/month.

Recommendation: Since you’re only looking for one email ID, Zoho’s free tier can be a great starting point. If you need more features like additional storage or support, you can upgrade later.

  1. Google Workspace ( GSuite)

Cost: The basic plan starts at ₹125/user/month.
Features: You’ll get the full suite of Google services (Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, etc.), which might be handy for team collaboration, especially if you expand in the future.

Recommendation: If you’re looking for a robust solution with extra features, Google Workspace could be a solid option, though it’s slightly more expensive.

Both options will allow you to set up a professional email for your domain (ninetydegrees.in) without too much hassle. For both of them you have to create an account in those websites and connect your domain DNS(in your case it is GoDaddy). Zoho is likely the most cost-effective solution for now, especially for a nonprofit like yours, but it depends on your future needs.
