Position Overview: IT Manager for Monitoring & Evaluation

ACCESS is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Manager to oversee and enhance our Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) systems. This role is pivotal in managing, customising, and maintaining the IT infrastructure that supports diverse project monitoring and evaluation activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Setup and Management: Establish and manage IT requirements for the M&E system, ensuring robust data security and system integration.
  • Software Development: Customize and implement M&E software to align with the dynamic needs of various ACCESS projects.
  • Technical Support and Maintenance: Address and resolve software issues, perform system health checkups, and ensure regular maintenance of the M&E IT systems.
  • Collaboration and Strategy: Work closely with program teams to understand and integrate project-specific M&E goals and indicators into the IT framework.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Master’s in Computer Applications or a Postgraduate degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 6 years in IT-based M&E systems, with a strong background in software development and management.
  • Technical Proficiencies: Familiarity with server-side languages, front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3), code versioning tools (Git), and databases (MongoDB, MySQL). Knowledge of cloud services like AWS or GCP is preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Robust problem-solving abilities, with a keen understanding of M&E methodologies and indicators.

Travel and Compensation

  • Travel: The role requires approximately 30% travel.
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience and in line with industry standards.
