Innovators of Tomorrow is designed for students in grades 9-10, aiming to empower them to use coding for self-expression and problem-solving. Muskaan Dreams’ Expert Facilitators work directly with teachers and students over two years, creating engaging learning experiences. The program emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and perseverance through affordable, confidence-building coding programs.
Role Summary:
Muskaan Dreams seeks a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program Manager to lead our Innovators of Tomorrow program across multiple locations in India. This role aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, focusing on empowering young students with coding and computational thinking skills. The Senior Manager will oversee program implementation, collaborate with internal teams, and foster partnerships with government stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Lead the design and implementation of the Innovators of Tomorrow program, ensuring alignment with NEP 2020 and organizational goals.
- Team Management: Manage and support a diverse team of project managers and field staff across different locations, fostering a culture of operational excellence and collaboration.
- Curriculum Design: Design the Computer Science Curriculum for specific grades, collaborating with subject matter experts and teachers to align with NEP and foster computational thinking.
- Baseline Assessment: Conduct diagnostic exercises to assess teacher mindsets, student proficiency levels, and resource availability.
- Operations Management: Develop and streamline operational processes for efficient project execution and resource utilization.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Implement robust mechanisms to track project progress, measure impact, and identify areas for improvement.
- Capacity Building: Develop and deliver training programs to empower teachers with tech skills and enhance their pedagogical practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with government officials, school administrators, community leaders, and donors to support the project and advocate for education reform.
- Reporting & Documentation: Design reporting standards as per MoUs and ensure timely reporting to partners and government.
- Identify and Nurture Champions: Identify schools and teachers who demonstrate enthusiasm for Computer Science education and collaborate with them to co-develop and deliver the curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in the education sector, particularly in curriculum design and development.
- Expertise in educational methodologies, instructional design, and best practices in Computer Science education.
- Strong understanding of educational technology and programming languages like C, C++, and Python.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership development.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in regional languages is desirable.
- Passion for social impact and commitment to educational equity.
